Historical Doorus House Youth Hostel is the birthplace of the Abbey Theatre.

The hostel provides a great base to explore an incredible variety of famous sights, all on day trips, including The Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, a blue flag beach just 10 minutes walk away, the Connemara to the north and of course the famous Burren mountains.

The hostel has 56 beds in dormitory and private room accommodation. The house also offers a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, large dining area and relaxing common room with a real turf fire on the cooler Irish evenings. Warmer nights will often find people enjoying their meals at the picnic tables or playing a game of volleyball. Other features include Internet access, meeting rooms, a small shop in reception and free Irish movies in the evening.
